SCHOLARSHIP

The Trent McDaniel Morton Scholarship Fund was established in April 2007, after Trent was tragically killed in a four-wheeler accident. Since that time, more than $100,000 has been given to students all over the State of Alabama to help further their college educations.

The scholarship fund exists to honor Trent’s memory. He was a caring, intelligent, athletic 12 year old young man who was attending Bibb County Junior High School. Trent was a friend to all and a young man of very high integrity and character. Applicants for the scholarship must be a high school senior or current college student. They must exhibit high academic excellence in the classroom and great character qualities. Applications are due by April 1st each year.
